Hi :)
We are Jura and Fara, two lovely black and white female kittens who were born in August 2024.
We have been lucky enough to spend some time growing up in a lovely foster home and we are now ready to find a forever home together.
Here is what our foster mummy has to say about us:
"Jura and Fara are adorable six-month-old black and white bonded youngsters, full of love and energy, who are eagerly looking for an amazing forever family they can share.
They are two of a litter of kittens who were about ten days old when they were brought to Boote with their young mum, who was so painfully thin she had run out of milk. The kittens were starving and tiny, so they were taken into foster for regular bottle-feeding throughout the day and night. Four of the sisters survived, flourished and grew into fine, sturdy little kittens: Jura, Fara, Kilda and Barra.
The sisters are very affectionate and purry, and love company - both human and feline. They get on well with other cats (their own family and others). Both are adventurous and love exploring. Fara will rush into new things while Jura watches and checks before joining in with enthusiasm. They love heights and climbing, and leap up and down the resident cats’ big cat tree, chasing and bouncing on each other and their sisters. Jura and Fara are very playful: they are obsessed with plastic springs and the laser pointer. Little sponge balls, ping pong balls and mousies are also popular, as are a long wand toy with feathers and a ribbony wand toy.
Fara will make little chirrupy meows if she need reassurance. Jura is the first to run up to greet you, while Fara rushes out to explore and check on the food situation before coming to say hello. They know their names and will (usually!) come running when you call.
After play both kittens love snuggling with their human in a purring heap on the sofa, although Jura is definitely the snuggle champion. They enjoy playing cat video games on the tablet and watch bird and mouse videos for extra entertainment.
Both kittens are excellent eaters and are used to a wide variety of wet food, including raw cat food. They have never had biscuits, in order to protect their tummies and kidneys. They use a covered litter tray, with wood pellet litter, very cleanly and reliably.
The family who can welcome these two a safe, lively and loving home, preferably with a safe garden, will be blessed with the best cats who will make their house the happiest of homes."
We are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, and de-flead.
